Ready to expand your skills in operating hoists and unlock new career opportunities? The CPCCLHS3001 Licence to Operate a Personnel and Materials Hoist course provides the essential skills and knowledge required to safely operate hoists used to transport personnel, goods, or materials vertically on construction sites.
Through this specialised course, you will learn how to plan, set up, operate, and shut down both personnel and materials hoists safely and in accordance with site, manufacturer and legislative requirements. On successful completion, you will also be able to apply for a High Risk Work Licence (Class HP) to legally operate personnel and materials hoists across Australia, unlocking career opportunities in the construction industry.
Course Delivery
At Premier Standards, we understand the importance of flexible, streamlined learning options that fit with your existing work commitments. That’s why we offer a blended learning model, combining online or classroom theory with practical, hands-on training using industry-standard personnel and materials hoists.
Participants are encouraged to complete the online theory component prior to training, ensuring more time is available for practical learning and assessment. The practical training and assessment components are then typically delivered over two days onsite at Premier Standards, using a fully equipped hoist training facility that replicates real site conditions. Alternatively, on-site assessment can be arranged for employers with suitable equipment and facilities that meet training requirements.
Training is conducted by qualified assessors who hold current High Risk Work Licences and extensive industry experience.
