We deliver comprehensive face-to-face training and assessments from our Brisbane HQ in Virginia to ensure the best learning experience and that all practical components can be demonstrated using full-scale swing stage scaffolding.
Our training facility includes a purpose-built swing stage training structure, access to fall restraint and fall arrest systems, communication equipment, and full-height suspended scaffold setups as required by the accredited course.
This course is delivered through classroom instruction, practical demonstrations, scenario-based learning, and hands-on operation on a real swing stage setup, covering theory, supervised practical training, hazard identification tasks, emergency procedure demonstrations, and concluding with the full mandated practical assessment.
Pre-Requisites for Undertaking 10910NAT
To enrol, participants must hold one of the following units (or equivalent):
- RIIWHS204E Work safely at heights (or equivalent)
- CPCCCM2012 Work safely at heights (or equivalent)
Participants must also have sufficient English language and numeracy skills to interpret work instructions, safety information, and write basic documentation.
Course Requirements
In addition to the pre-requisites, to successfully complete this course, participants must:
- Attend and participate in all training and assessment sessions across both days.
- Successfully complete all components of the mandated Assessment Instrument – Use Swing Stage Scaffolds Safely.
- Provide current photo identification and a valid Unique Student Identifier (USI).
- Wear appropriate PPE, including a hard hat, safety boots, high-visibility clothing, gloves, and eye protection.
- Demonstrate safe work practices and follow all WHS procedures throughout the course.
