Construction Skills Queensland (CSQ) Funding
Are you looking to undertake further training, but are concerned about funding?
At Premier Standards, we understand the financial barriers that can hinder career progression. That’s why we are proud to be a Construction Skills Queensland (CSQ) registered training supplier. Some of our courses are supported by CSQ funding, minimising the financial burdens of higher education.
CSQ funding helps to make training and upskilling more accessible for everyone, so you can unlock opportunities for career development and increase your earning potential without the concern of high costs.
What is CSQ Funding?
Construction Skills Queensland is an independent, not-for-profit, industry-funded body supporting employers, workers, apprentices, trainees and career seekers in the building and construction industry. CSQ provides funding to reduce the financial obstacle to training, making upskilling an affordable option for many more individuals in the construction industry.
If you’re considering expanding your skills in construction, you may be able to receive support from CSQ funding. Where CSQ funding doesn’t cover the full cost of the program, you will be required to contribute towards the remaining course fees. This partnership helps to make further education accessible to more of the community, encouraging widespread professional development and keeping the industry competitive.
Program Rules
While this funding is designed to encourage more individuals to participate in higher training, there are a few specific rules governing how much funding each individual can access to ensure fair opportunities for the whole community:
- Only a maximum of eight (8) short courses will be subsidised per participant during the program term, which covers both the Building listing and the Civil listing.
