Issuing Qualifications and Statements of Attainment
At Premier Standards, we are committed to delivering successful students with timely Australian Qualification Framework (AQF) certification documentation, including Qualifications and Statements of Attainment.
These documents will be issued to students within 30 calendar days of the student being assessed as meeting the requirements of the training product if the course in which the student is enrolled is successfully completed. These nationally recognised documents verify your achievement of the course requirements and your competency to work safely in the relevant industry.
Qualification vs. Statement of Attainment
Qualification
Qualification is the result of a student achieving the units of competency for a qualification outcome as specified in an endorsed training package or an accredited course. A qualification is a formal certification that a student has achieved learning outcomes as described in the AQF.
Technically, within the AQF, a qualification is comprised of two official records:
A testamur
The actual official certification document that confirms that a qualification has been awarded to an individual.
A Record of Results
The official transcript that details all of the units of competency achieved during training.
Statement of Attainment
Statements of Attainment are documents that recognise the successful completion of one or more individual units that are part of a nationally recognised training program, but do not add up to a full qualification. These certificates can be issued in different scenarios, such as:
- When the student has achieved one or more units of competency as a result of completing a course that included units of competency only,
- Where the student achieved one or more units of competency as part of an enrolment in a qualification-based course, but the student did not achieve all of the units of competency to receive the full qualification.
These official certificates allow students to verify their acquired knowledge and skills; students may also be able to use their Statement of Attainment to apply for credit transfers for future training.
Issuing Qualifications and Statements of Attainment
Once students have successfully completed all components of their assessment, their Qualification or Statement of Attainment will be issued following final compliance checks. A nationally recognised Statement of Attainment will be sent as a digital copy to you via email as a secure PDF for your records. This process is typically completed within 30 days of assessment; however, we aim to deliver documents as promptly as possible.
Earn Professional Qualifications
Australian Qualification Framework (AQF) certification documentation verifies that students have been trained to a basic industry standard to work safely and competently in the relevant industry by a registered training organisation. However, certification does not equate to experience, as this is gained over time in a variety of work sites, using different machinery and working with different materials.
